Dr. Nasreen Fatima
Dr. Nasreen Fatima is a Senior Scientist and Head of KVK Kargil-1 (Krishi Vigyan Kendra). She has been actively involved in various agricultural initiatives and training programs in Kargil, focusing on areas like micro-irrigation, organic farming, and pest management. She is also involved in promoting women's empowerment through skill development programs, such as tailoring and embroidery.
Mudassir Rauf Wani
Mudassir Rauf Wani is a Functional Manager at the Department of Industries and Commerce, Kargil. He is overseeing schemes like Prime Minister's Employment Generation Program (PMEGP), Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises(PMFME), and PM Vishwakarma. He has experience in enterprise creation and ecosystem development.
Asiya Tabassum
Asiya Tabassum is a dedicated social work professional holding a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Kashmir. She currently serves as a District Programme Manager at the Ladakh Rural Livelihoods Mission (since 2023), leading the design, implementation, and monitoring of rural livelihood initiatives. Her prior experience includes spearheading elderly welfare projects as a Field Officer at HelpAge India (2019-2020). Combining strategic vision with deep empathy, she excels in community mobilization, rural development, and program leadership, empowering vulnerable populations.
Stanzin Jorden
Stanzin Jorden is a visionary entrepreneur and cofounder of Ladakh Basket, an initiative rooted in the rich traditions and natural bounty of Ladakh. With a background in computer science, Jorden brings a unique blend of technical acumen and cultural awareness to his work. Deeply inspired by Buddhist teachings and spiritual practices, Jordan's philosophy is shaped by the serene landscapes and sacred heritage of his hometown. His love for exploring the valleys, monasteries, and highland trails of Ladakh is not just a pastime—it’s a continual journey of reconnecting with the spirit of the region. By weaving his passions for *technology, tradition, and travel, Jorden continues to forge pathways that uplift local communities and preserve Ladakh’s timeless essence.
